Gamera WET and web guidelines and recommendations

Gamera WET is able to conduct evaluations with respect to various web guidelines and recommendations. As far as web accessibility is concerned, the guidelines are essentially legislative (national or international) and the recommendations are those set out by W3C, the body which promotes standards for the World Wide Web. Regarding quality and security, the evaluation is entrusted to guidelines purposely studied and designed by Devise.IT for Gamera WET.

Legislation and guidelines on web accessibility:

  • Law Stanca (9 January 2004, n. 4): 22 technical requisites for software applications and Internet sites. Available in Italian.

  • WCAG 2.0: is the last official recommendation by W3C in terms of accessibility to web content, released in December 2008. Available in English.
